Early life and education
Daniel Keem, commonly known as Keemstar, was born on March 8, 1982 in Buffalo, New York, United States. She is the eldest of three children. She has a younger brother and a younger sister.
Keemstar is of mixed race; he has Italian and Greek ancestry. His parents taught him the value of hard work from a young age. They instilled in him the importance of doing whatever it takes to achieve your goals. These values have served him well throughout his life and helped him achieve success both professionally and personally.

In August 2021, Keemstar split from his girlfriend Christine Youngman. Their 19-year age difference, with Keemstar being 39 and Youngman being 20, caused a lot of controversy. He said that his “enemies” and “ugly women” were the only ones who had a problem with the age difference. He has a daughter named Mia Keem.
In January 2019, YouTuber Jake Paul accused Keemstar of mocking the appearance of Jake Paul’s then-girlfriend Erika Costell, after Keemstar posted a tweet comparing Erika Costell’s body to YouTuber Eugenia Cooney, who suffered from an eating disorder.

Career
Keemstar first appeared on YouTube in a Halo 3 video from January 2009, in which he was caught on video saying bad things in online multiplayer voice chat. In September 2012, he began using the Twitter trend #DramaAlert.
In June 2014, after several contract terminations, he signed up for his current channel DramaAlert.
Keemstar often gives his thoughts on the things he writes. In 2010, he spread a lie about Lindsay Lohan’s death on Twitter around the world.
In July 2010, Keemstar became the most subscribed person on blogTV. In November 2010, he was beaten in what was described as a kidnapping situation.
In February 2011, Keemstar advertised a game called FortressCraft that would be available on Xbox Live. He contacted the independent developer and struck a deal with them so that he could own a portion of the game. It went on to sell 2 million copies.
In March 2011, Keemstar and Scott Kinmartin founded WebStar Records, but the project didn’t last long. In July 2011, he and Alki David organized a tournament called Billionaire’s Challenge, in which people would compete for prizes. The first tournament was a huge success and had many famous YouTubers participating. They arranged a second tournament.
In the script, Alki David said that they were going to air a video about assisted suicide. This caused a lot of controversy and eventually, a lot of YouTubers gave up. It ended up being a joke. The second show went ahead anyway.
In January 2012, Keemstar created a website called LiveaRoo for live streaming video games. He and YouTuber ONLYUSEmeBLADE (Brian Risso) created the Bad Kid Show podcast in June 2012. The show started as an audio podcast, but when ONLYUSEmeBLADE moved to New York in September and Scott Kinmartin moved there in August, they began doing IRL video shows.
