Early life
Kemi Olunloyo was born to former Oyo State Governor Victor Omololu Olunloyo and his wife Funlayo Olunloyo on August 6, 1964.
Born into an elite family, she spent most of her childhood on the Nigerian border as she lived only 14 years in Nigeria, 20 years in the US and 5 years in Canada.
She returned to Nigeria after a deportation case with Canadian immigration authorities.
However, unlike many Nigerians, she had a relatively smooth educational process as she studied abroad and began a very lucrative career there before returning to Nigeria.

Kemi Olunloyo has been selected as a guest speaker to discuss terrorism and health topics on platforms such as CBC news, Ruptly, CTV News, BBC and the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
In 2010, she served on the Governor’s Advisory Council at Kingston General Hospital in Kingston, Ontario. In addition, she also briefly worked as a music reporter for the “Nigerian Tribune”.
