Kenneth Okonkwo was born on November 6, 1968, in Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria, to Ozioko Francis Okonkwo and Beatrice Okonkwo. He was born into a family of lawyers and has two siblings, Anita Okonkwo and Princess Okonkwo, who also practice law.
After completing his secondary education, he went on to study at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He later studied International Law and Diplomacy at the University of Lagos, where he was admitted to the Nigerian Bar.
Besides his legal education, Kenneth Okonkwo is also a qualified theologian with a certificate from the Bible School of Nigeria. He is well versed in religious studies and has also served as a minister of God.
