Kehinde Ogungbe (born 10 September 1970), better known as Kenny Ogungbe, is a Nigerian DJ, music producer, television presenter and music executive.

He is the founder and namesake of a record label called Kennis Music and is the CEO along with the famous Dayo D1 Adeneye. They are the proud owners of a popular Lagos based radio station, Kennis 104.1 FM, Lagos.

Kenny Ogungbe rose to fame in the 90s as the host of a popular television show called AIT Jamz (later renamed PrimeTime Jamz on NTA).

The man has been involved in numerous coaching activities, making him one of the most famous coaching figures in Nigeria.

Early life

Kenny Ogungbe was born in the commercial city of Lagos on September 10, 1970. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ogungbe, both of whom are originally from western Nigeria. He is of Yoruba ethnicity.

He lost his mother, Mrs Otunba Letticia Onojoke Ogungbe, at the age of 80. She passed away peacefully one evening in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

She died surrounded by one of her children and grandchildren, who confirmed her death. However, she is survived by her descendants, including her first child, a talented businesswoman and banker, Chief Moji Dokpesi, wife of Chief Raymond Dokpesi, Founder and Chairman of African Independent Television (AIT).

He teamed up with another media personality, Dayo Adeneye, also known as D1, to host a music show called AIT Jamz. This show, which aired on AIT in the late nineties (later became PrimeTime Jamz on NTA), made him quite famous.

This popular radio host and record label manager rose from Assistant General Manager in 1993 to Managing Director in 2000. He has extensive experience and is well known in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
