early life
Fate brought them together when they were young, living in Bromley, a beautiful area in South London. They both loved music and were eager to form a band.
They decided to cast a wide net, posting ads on multiple online platforms in search of another member who could add character to their group. One such platform was MixB, an internet bulletin board developed specifically for the Japanese expatriate community.
Surprisingly, it was an interest in “Japanese rap” that inspired them to go down this path.
Perry was one of the first to respond. They chose her because of her artistic background and language skills.
Perry, who has performed with a Japanese girl group but has no professional singing background, was interested in working with Lobban and Bullard simply because she “wanted to give it a try.”
