Kevin Sinfield was born on 12 September 1980 in Oldham, United Kingdom. He was raised by his parents, Ray Sinfield and Beryl Sinfield, and grew up with his brother, Ian Sinfield. Sinfield attended Leeds Beckett UniversityHe is white and Christian.

Kevin Sinfield began his professional rugby career at ARLFC water heada club that has produced other notable talents such as Barrie McDermott, Paul SculthorpeAnd Marc SnyderHe signed the contract. Leeds in August 1997.
In the 1990s, Sinfield made his first-team debut for Leeds at the age of 16 in a match against Sheffield Eagles in 1997. He went on to make three more appearances that season and in 1998, scored his first goal against Huddersfield Giants in September 1998. 1999 was Sinfield’s breakthrough year, with 21 appearances and 2 tries, although he was not selected for the Leeds team in 1999 Challenge Cup Final win.
During the 2000s, Sinfield’s career continued to flourish. He was part of Older brother squad for 2000 Rugby World Cupscored three goals in one match against Russia. He also represents UK in all three Ashes test against Australia in 2001 Kangaroo Tour.
In 2021, Sinfield left Leeds to become a defensive coach at a rugby union club Leicester Tigershelp them win the 2021–22 season Premier League Rugby title. He then moved on to become a defensive coach for England national rugby union team in December 2022, after Leicester Head Coach By Steve Borthwick was appointed head coach of the England team.
