Early life and education
Khabonina Qubeka was born in Orlando, Soweto West, South Africa.
This multi-talented South African celebrity was born in 1981 on January 22.
However, she lived and grew up in Johannesburg, where she attended high school.
She attended Queen’s High School Kensington and then moved to Johannesburg, South Africa to pursue a degree in dance majoring in Moving into Dance.
Career
Khabonina Qubeka rose to fame for her role as Doobsie in the SABC 2 soap opera Muvhango from 2006 to 2007, making her the third (3rd) actress to take on the role after Lindiwe Chibi and Khanyi Mbau.
A professional dancer and choreographer, she has hosted and judged numerous dance reality television shows, including SABC 1’s Dance Your Butt Off, eTV’s Step Up or Step Out. She has also choreographed for the Channel O Music Video Awards.
Additionally, as a Yoga enthusiast, Khabonina Qubeka has produced and hosted her own health and fitness show called Gym e’Kasi for eTV. In 2018, she received the prestigious City University Award for a professional innovator in the world after launching her own Afro Yoga concept in Hong Kong.
