Early life and education
Kiki Omeili, a Nigerian creative actress, was born in Lagos on 31 May 1986. She comes from a family of four children, the second child of Charles Omeili and Maureen Omeili.
Kiki Omeili’s father, Charles Omeili, had a successful career as a banker at First Bank Nigeria and later retired as a general manager. On the other hand, her mother, Maureen Omeili, served as the Controller of Prisons in Ibadan, Oyo State. Kiki Omeili belongs to the Igbo ethnic group and hails from Nimo in Anambra State.
Kiki Omeili’s passion for acting began at a young age when she actively participated in stage plays. Her dedication to the dramatic arts continued even when she entered college where she joined the drama club and participated in various plays and competitions.
Despite her passion for performing, Kiki Omeili excelled in her studies, earning a degree in Medicine from University of Lagos Medical University in 2006.

Kiki Omeili took her first steps into acting in 2011, appearing in the TV series “Behind the Smile”. Summer 2013 brought excitement to Lekki’s Wife fans when news of the show’s second season emerged. Along with this buzz came an exciting revelation: talented actress Kiki Omeili’s contract was renewed. With joy, viewers looked forward to the return of her beloved character, Lovette.
Kiki Omeili’s film production career began with the release of the short film Unprotected on May 31, 2016. Inspired by real moments during her time as a medical student, Kiki herself narrates this captivating story. The film features a talented cast, including Erick Didie, Bimbo Ademoye, Blessing Ambrose and Nathan Kingsley.
In June 2018, Kiki Omeili began working on her first feature film, Runwas released in theaters on August 23, 2019. The film is directed by Uche Chukwu, and stars Owen Gee, Rotimi Salami, Kelechi Udegbe, and Greg Ojefua. Run has been recognized beyond Nigeria’s borders, with screenings at the Silicon Valley International Film Festival in California and the Slum International Film Festival in Kenya.
