Richards married Monty Brinson, a supermarket heir and professional poker player, in 1985. They had a daughter together. However, they divorced in 1988.
That same year, she married Gregg Davis, son of oil tycoon Marvin Davis and Barbara Davis. They had two children together, a daughter and a son. They divorced shortly thereafter in 1991.
