King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard Tour 2024

In 2024, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard announced a series of special “marathon” concerts in the United States. These concerts can be long, lasting about three hours each. The first concert will begin on August 17th in Forest Hills, New York. They will then perform at the Huntington Bank Pavilion in Chicago and the Canyon Amphitheater in Quincy, Washington, in September. The final show of the tour will be in Austin on November 15th.

The Gizzard King and the Lizard Wizard

King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard is an Australian rock band formed in Melbourne in 2010. The band has six members: Stu Mackenzie, Ambrose Kenny-Smith, Cook Craig, Joey Walker, Lucas Harwood and Michael Cavanagh. They are known for composing a wide range of different styles of music and putting on exciting live concerts.

At first, they made music that was a mix of surf music and garage rock. They release their music on their own label Flightless. In the early 2010s they produced psychedelic and progressive rock albums. Later, they experimented with many other types of music, such as fusion jazz and folk-style tunes.

In 2016, they became more famous with the album “Nonagon Infinity”, for which they won awards. They’ve also committed to releasing five albums within a year, starting with 2017’s Flying Microtonal Banana. Their music began to include heavy metal, synth-pop and progressive rock, and they sang about the environment and a fictional world called “Flying Microtonal Banana”. “Geez Universe”.
