KINGP dabbles in almost all types of music because he doesn’t want to be limited to a specific musical style. His passion for songs grows day by day and he constantly wants to step out of his comfort zone and create tunes that are timeless and close to life because, for him, this is what it means to be an artist.
Biography/ Early life
Promise Ilebor, also known as KINGP, was born on January 18 in Lagos State, Nigeria, where she grew up.
At some point, he moved to Ibadan, where he completed his junior high school education, before moving to Texas, USA.
Education and Qualifications
When he moved to Texas, he completed his high school education and deservedly received a scholarship to the University of Oregon, where he majored in psychology and computer science.
He completed his university studies with a Bachelor’s degree in two basic subjects. He also obtained a Liberal Studies and an Associate’s degree in Science from Lane Community College in Oregon, USA.
Career and pursuits
KINGP entered the music industry as a record label executive in 2012. He did not release his own music until 2014, when he collaborated with the then-organization D Confirm to feature Gongo Aso singers 9ice and LKT on the Agbero single.
Since then, he had not released a single as a solo artist KINGP until 2019, when he released a hit song “Banga” proposing to rapper Zlatan Ibile.
This single really shot him to fame in the tuning world. It was the first legitimate single he released as KINGP after leaving D Confirm.
He is a successful record executive and a successful real estate investor.
