Konidela Ram Charan is an Indian actor, producer and entrepreneur known for his performances in Telugu films. He is one of the highest-paid actors in the Indian film industry and has been included in the Forbes India Celebrity 100 list since 2013.

He made his debut in the successful action film Chirusha (2007) and won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debutant – South. Early life and education

Ram Charan was born on March 27, 1985 in Madras (now Chennai) to an ethnic Telugu family. His father is actor Chiranjeevi and his mother is Surekha. His family hails from Mogaltur and Palakollu in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.

His maternal grandfather is the famous comedian Allu Ramalingaiah. He has two siblings – an elder sister Sushmitha and a younger sister Sreeja.

Ram Charan was educated at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan in Chennai, Lawrence School in Lovedale, Hyderabad Public School in Begumpet and St. Mary’s College in Hyderabad. He also attended the Kishore Namit Kapoor School of Acting in Mumbai.

They got engaged in December 2011 and exchanged vows on June 14, 2012 at Temple Trees Farm House in Hyderabad.
