Hisako Takayama, better known as Urara Takano, was born on August 16, 1961 in Togane, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, to Japanese parents. Her father is Masato Sazako and her mother is Tomoko Matsumoto.
She is the only daughter in the family. Her father is a small business owner and her mother teaches English in a private school. After graduating from high school, she was admitted to the prestigious Waseda University, majoring in sociology.
