Early life and education
Born on June 23, 1994 in Oshimili, Delta State of Nigeria, Korra Obidi had her childhood experiences with her birthplace combined with her upbringing and training in Lagos State, Nigeria.
While she obtained her secondary school certificate in Ojo area of Lagos State, Nigeria from Command Secondary School, Korra Obidi also furthered her education by pursuing a degree in Business Education at the College of Education.

In 2015, Korra Obidi ventured into music with the release of her first official single, Man Like You coupled with an extended play, Woman Power, a work that incorporated almost all the world’s top music genres including afrobeat and R&B. Her World Cup single, Africa released in 2017 received widespread acceptance along with her 2018 release, Parkwell, which topped the top 4 on the Nigerian music charts.
In addition, Korra Obidi also became a notable model after being crowned Miss Radiology 2009 by the University of Lagos, Miss Moremi 2010 by the University of Lagos and Miss Congeniality by Miss Global Nigeria in 2014. Besides appearing on the runway at both GTBank Fashion Week and Port Harcourt International Fashion Week, Korra Obidi was also the main model in the Black Eye Peas’ Wings commercial.

Korra Obidi is married to an American husband, Dr. Justin Dean, who happens to be a Sports Therapist and Osteopathic Physician. He is fully supportive of her career. The marriage is blessed with a baby girl.
