Kristin Kreuk is a Canadian actress, born on December 30, 1982 in Vancouver.
She is the daughter of Dutch immigrant Peter Kreuk and Chinese immigrant Deanna Che. She has a younger sister named Justine Kreuk.
Kristin Kreuk attended Eric Hamber High School and graduated with honors. She is of Dutch and Chinese descent, thanks to her parents.

In mid-2004, Kristin Kreuk played Tenar in the two-part miniseries Tales from Earthsea on the Sci-Fi Channel. The miniseries was directed by Robert Lieberman, produced in Vancouver, and aired on December 13, 2004. The Vancouver-based series tells the story of Clark Kent as a teenager before he becomes Superman.
Kristin Kreuk was approached by Alfred Gough and Miles Miller to play the role of Lana Lang, Clark Kent’s first love, at the Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California, and she was eventually chosen. She was a regular on Smallville and Magic Town for a time. However, her role on Magic Town gradually decreased over time. Magic Town ended in 2005. Kristin Kreuk left Smallville in early 2008 when her character left town after seven seasons. She returned as a guest star in the show’s eighth season, appearing in five episodes to close the series.
In 2009, Kristin Kreuk joined Chuck for several episodes in the third season. After being fired, she joined Buy More Nerd Herd as computer troubleshooter Hannah.
