Early life and education
Kyriakos Mitsotakis was born on March 4, 1968 in Athens, Greece, to Konstantinos Mitsotakis and Marika Giannoukou. His father, Constantine, was Prime Minister of Greece from 1990 to 1993 and a leading figure in the New Democracy party.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis is a famous Greek politician currently serving as Prime Minister of Greece. He took office on July 8, 2019, after leading his New Democracy (ND) party to a significant election victory.
His administration focused on economic growth, tax reform and sustainable tourism, with Greece experiencing its first majority government in more than a decade. Mitsotakis previously served as Leader of the Opposition from 2016 to 2019 and Minister of Administrative Reforms from 2013 to 2015.
Mitsotakis comes from a political family; His father, Konstantinos Mitsotakis, was Prime Minister of Greece from 1990 to 1993. He was first elected to the Greek Parliament in 2004 and became Leader of New Democracy in 2016.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis is married to Mareva Grabowska, an investment banker with rich English, Greek, Polish and Egyptian heritage.
The couple has three children: Sophia, Constantine and Daphne. Although they went through a public separation at one point, Mitsotakis and Grabowska later reconciled and appeared together in his political campaigns.
