While Lady Gaga has been open about her support for Democrats in the past, her father, Joe Germanotta, has a different view.

Germanotta appears on Fox and friends on September 19, where he endorsed Donald Trump for president in the upcoming election. In defending Trump, he cited the former’s patriotism.

“They are two completely different people. One is pure and a patriot,” Germanotta told the show.
However, at the same time he also criticized Kamala Harris.
“And the other one just said what she needed to say to get elected. That’s basically what I heard, and I’m sick of hearing about her neighbor’s lawn,” he continued.
“He may seem rude, but he is a patriot and has his own policies,” Germanotta added.
Germanotta owns a New York City restaurant called Joanne Trattoria, which he says has lost business due to policies put in place by the Joe Biden and Harris administrations.
“We no longer have secure borders. We no longer have legal immigration,” he said.
Gaga has not commented on her father’s comments, but the singer has been open about her support for Democratic candidates in the past. She notably liked Taylor Swift’s Instagram endorsement of Harris for president last week.
Mother Monster also sang the National Anthem at President Biden’s 2021 inauguration. Additionally, she was appointed co-chair of Biden’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities.
After her father’s words went viral, fans reacted to what he said.
