Lana Del Rey and Lizzo are still on good terms despite a viral parody video saying otherwise.
On November 13, a viral tweet falsely reported that singers had hurled insults on TikTok.
In the edited interaction, an account impersonating Lizzo wrote: “I want to see you on the charts again.” This prompted the fake Lana Del Rey account to respond: “I would love to see you running on the treadmill.”
Although the account circulating the fake screenshots clearly states in its bio that it is a parody of popular pop culture news accounts on X, formerly Twitter, some still believe it is is the truth.
The post went viral with more than 20 million views, and the fake account doubled down by editing out more insults in a follow-up post, in which Lizzo was edited to say, “I hope fish The crocodile will eat you that big.” This is a reference to Del Rey’s marriage to her alligator tour boat husband, Jeremy Dufrene.
Their fake interaction ended with a jab at Lizzo’s weight, with the fake Del Rey saying: “You’ll know about eating big.”
However, Del Rey has since dispelled any rumors that there was a feud between her and Lizzo. In the comments section of an Instagram post posting the fake interaction, she shared that she doesn’t even have a TikTok account.
“I don’t think I have an official TikTok, other than sponsorship or Twitter, which is very random,” she said in response.

The fake insults about Lizzo’s weight come as the singer fights back against rumors that she uses Ozempic.
“You finally get the obesity accusations after five months of weight training and a calorie deficit,” she said in an Instagram post.
More recently, the star hit back at Antonio Brown after the former NFL star said she holds her pen “the same way she holds her ozempic shot.”
In response, Lizzo took to Instagram on November 11, posting a carousel of photos with the caption, “Holding on life like an ozempic pen.. 😝.”
While Lizzo decided to take a year off this year, the “Truth Hurts” singer was busy appearing at the Kamala Harris rally in Detroit and posting hilarious TikToks.
