Last Epoch is an action-packed role-playing adventure game produced by Eleventh Hour Games (EHG).
In April 2018, they shared a free demo as part of a Kickstarter campaign. Fast forward to April 2019, and the game entered beta and was available for early access to everyone via Steam. Originally, the full game was supposed to launch in April 2020, but plans changed in December 2019 and they decided to launch it in the fourth quarter of 2020.

However, in October 2020, EHG had to abandon the Mac version of the game. That’s because Apple’s move to ARM-based processors is expected to pose challenges, they said.
In December 2020, EHG told us that Last Epoch’s release would take longer, pushing it to 2021. In March 2023, they launched a multiplayer beta that gave players a taste of what was to come, and it was worth the wait. Finally, in October 2023, they shared a big news – the full game would be officially released on February 21, 2024.
Amid all these changes, Last Epoch continues to evolve, with a multiplayer beta allowing players to try out some cool new features before the full release. The developers have made various announcements to the community to make sure everyone is excited for the big day.

Final Era release date
The Last Epoch 1.0 update was released on Steam on February 21st at 9am PST. For early access users, the system will prompt you to upgrade Last Epoch to version 1.0.

Ahead of its full launch, Eleventh Hour Games announced that it would be performing maintenance on Last Epoch’s online services 24 hours before the game’s official release. During this period, “Last Epoch” will be temporarily unplayable until maintenance is completed and the subsequent full version is released.
