Laura Ikeji, a sincere Lagosian, was born on March 15, 1988 and comes from a large family of six people. The family consisted of five sisters, Sandra Ikeji, Edna Ikeji, Vera Ikeji Shilobod, Linda Ikeji and Benita Ikeji, and a brother, Peks Ikeji, with her as the third child. She originally hails from Nkwerre, Imo State, Nigeria.
Her older sister, Linda Ikeji, is a famous writer and blogger, known to have amassed a fortune through her writings. The patriarch of the Ikeji family is named Ikeji, although their mother remains a mystery.
Laura Ikeji began her educational journey at Lagos Anglican Girls Primary School before attending the prestigious Anglican Girls Grammar School. She was later admitted to the University of Lagos to study Psychology, proving that she is a pretty face and a smart baker.
Personal life
Laura Ikeji and her boyfriend Christopher Kanu sealed their love in a ceremony at a court in Lagos state, Nigeria on January 19, 2017. A few days later, on January 28, 2017, the couple wed traditional wedding ceremony in her hometown in Nkwerre LGA, Imo State.
The couple was lucky enough to have a beautiful baby boy, Ryan Kanu, in July of that year in Texas, USA. To further express his love for his beloved wife, Christopher gifted Laura Ikeji a brand new Mercedes-Benz for her 30th birthday on March 15, 2018.
