early life and education
Lazar “Laza” Ristovski was born on October 26, 1952 in the village of Ravno, Serbian Republic of Yugoslavia. He is the son of Persida and Petar Ristovski and has a sibling named Jovan.
Ristovski graduated from Sombol Teachers’ College and later completed his studies at the Belgrade Academy of Dramatic Arts, where he received a degree in acting. He is of Serbian origin, but his religious beliefs are not publicly known.
