Actor Al Brown has died of complications from Alzheimer’s disease. It was his daughter who first revealed the cause of his death before adding that he loved his fans and was always happy to stop and chat with anyone who might recognise him from the show over the years.
In addition, his talent manager, Michael, confirmed the news on the late actor’s official Facebook page. “It is with great sadness that I inform you that the angels came to Al yesterday morning, Friday, January 13, 2023. May his memory be a blessing to his family, friends, and each of you. This page will remain a testament to Al’s work and love for his fans.”

As for his son, Tim Brown is a Physical Education (PE) Teacher at Woodrow Wilson Middle School and Ketcham Elementary School. He has also served as a Physical Education teacher at the Department of Education and Literacy and Northwood Academy Charter School.
Talking about his education, Tim graduated from Ohio University with a Master’s degree in Sports Management in 2014. Additionally, he attended Central Bucks West High School and the University of South Carolina.
As of 2023, he lives in Ashburn, Virginia with his wife and their adorable son. Previously, he also lived in Las Vegas, Nevada; Key West, Florida; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

In addition to being an actor and writer, Al Brown worked in Emergency Preparedness Community Relations at the US EPA for 14 years, where he grew the newsletter circulation from about 300 to over 35,000 readers and managed and directed an annual conference that grew from 40 attendees to about 1,500.
Additionally, he previously served in the United States Air Force for over two decades—serving two tours in Vietnam. From December 1972 to August 1990, he was the “Director of Personnel/Public Affairs Officer” in the PA Air National Guard, and from January 1990 to July 1992, he was the Deputy Commander (Reserve) at Joint Military Postal Operations.
In terms of education, Al attended Denison University from 1957 to 1960. He then left in his third year to become an actor, attending LaSalle University to earn a BA in Theater. However, after graduating in 1964, life had other plans for him, and he joined the military.
