Actor Grant Harvey plays Sleeper Hadley in the CBS original series Fire Country. Although Sleeper Hadley only appeared in a few episodes in Fire Country Seasons 1 and 2, he had a significant impact on the show and its main character, Bode Leone. Bode Leone, a prisoner in Fire Country, tries to fight the California fires to change his life and have a positive impact on the outside world.

In Part 2, Bode is finally brought back to prison, where he meets Sleeper again. Sleeper is not seen again in Part 1. Not only are Sleeper and Bode returned to the same prison, but after some strings are pulled for Sleeper, they are placed in the same cell block. Near the end of the episode, Bode and Sleeper get into a knife fight that seems to end with one of them being killed and their rivalry ending.

But then an earthquake hits, and Sleeper is trapped in the rubble. Bode now has one last chance to kill Sleeper, but he chooses to use his leverage wisely. When Sleeper confesses his crimes and clears Bode’s name, Bode offers to save Sleeper’s life, and Sleeper accepts. However, the episode hints that the two characters will cross paths again, as Sleeper threatens to kill Bode if he returns to Lompoc Prison.

And he had no idea how bad he was. Like, eight pepperonis on a big pepperoni pizza with speckled sauce and mozzarella cheese clumped in one corner of the pie. I’m not kidding. It was terrible. But it was great. It was lovely. Everyone knew it except him. But everyone loved his restaurant. As long as he wasn’t cooking.”

The part he was working on was a scene where his character was a guy who killed his entire family at the dinner table before sitting across from his dad and letting his dad see his dead family, then killing him too.

“I flew back and forth from my dad’s memorial to film that episode. It was brutal, right?” Grant said. John’s alma mater is San Jose St.
