Learn About Jury Duty Ronald Gladden Family: Parents, Brothers and Sisters!

Ronald Gladden was just a regular construction worker until he accidentally starred in the fake documentary Jury Duty. So when it all came to light, he “didn’t want to risk being the one to ruin it” and kept it a secret from his family — only telling them that he “was going to be famous around here soon.”

But who is Ronald’s family? Find out all about his parents and siblings as you scroll down.

Meet Jury Duty star Ronald Gladden Family

Ronald Gladden comes from a family of six—his parents, himself, and three siblings. He loves them dearly. But he doesn’t trust them with his secret: he was pranked on Jury Duty. “I didn’t tell anyone, because I didn’t want to risk being the one to ruin the whole thing,” he explains.

But he joked with them, saying, “Oh, hey guys, I’m going to be famous here soon. You can’t talk to me like that.” So when Jury Duty finally premiered, it was great to see their reaction. “I was like, ‘Dude, I told you so,’” he added.

Ronald first signed up for jury duty through a Craigslist ad. But of course, he had no idea what he was getting himself into. “I signed up for what I thought was a documentary. I didn’t really know what was going on until it was over,” he says. At first, he thought he was just doing his civic duty, with a few cameras watching. But what he didn’t know was that everyone but him was an actor pretending to work on a three-week civil trial in an LA courthouse.

To keep Ronald from being discovered, they even isolated him, as James Marsden called the paparazzi to arrest him. “I was locked up for over three weeks. I don’t think people understand that. No access to the outside world, no phone, no laptop, no internet. I couldn’t watch TV. Like the only things I could do in my spare time were read a book, or—the production department bought us a Switch, so I could play some video games every now and then,” he recalls.

During the quarantine, he didn’t even want to contact his family because there was only one policeman standing in the room with him the whole time, but they overheard the entire conversation.

Luckily, Ronald’s cheerful personality quickly caught the attention of viewers, who began calling him names like “the walking green flag.”

After filming ended, Ronald returned to his regular life as a construction manager at The Home Depot. Prior to jury duty, he worked as Vice President of Construction at Scrubbing Solar LLC.
