Kirsten and Daniel met in Los Angeles, “online but through mutual friends” in the animation industry.

“I just commented on a Facebook video of people hanging out,” Lepore says. “And then my animator friend from London said, ‘You should meet this guy. He lives in LA. He’s really cool.’ So we all met up—me, Daniel, and the other Daniel. We had a great time. We all became fast friends.” At first, when Daniel showed interest in something more, Kirsten friend-zoned him.

“It took about a year before I saw him in a new light, and we actually started dating,” she said. They got engaged on New Year’s Day 2015, Daniel announced via an IG post.

Dan wrote, “I’m not ready to post an actual photo of the wedding because I don’t think I can think of a caption that can do it justice.
