In the realm of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, gameplay unfolds as an isometric RPG adventure, similar to previous Owlcat games. Using the d100 desktop role-playing game system, the experience is rich and complex. As players dive into the universe, they will command six characters (including their own), maneuvering through ground combat and social interactions.
The game offers the flexibility to choose between real-time pause and turn-based combat, providing strategic depth. What makes Rogue Trader unique is its unique emphasis on realm-building, where the decisions players make, which embody the Rogue Trader name, impact the entire game and shape their thriving space empire. The isometric perspective enhances detailed views, and the addition of space combat adds a layer of variety to gameplay.
