Toxicology results have come in and revealed that the singer had multiple substances in his system after his tragic death.

Good morning America reported that Payne had pink cocaine in his system at the time of his death. According to the National Library of Medicine, it is a stimulant drug that is often a combination of several drugs including methamphetamine, ketamine, MDMA and others.
Other drugs in Payne’s system included cocaine, benzodiazepine and crack according to store reports. Good morning America went on to say that after Payne’s death, an improvised aluminum tube for drug consumption was also found in his hotel room.
The autopsy has not yet been completed despite the results of toxicology tests and his body will remain in Argentina until it is completed.

In response to the One Direction member’s death, hotel officials called authorities and asked them to “send emergency personnel” due to a guest they said was “intoxicated with drugs and alcohol.”
“We needed to send someone urgently because we didn’t know if the guest’s life was in danger or not because he was in a room with a balcony and we were afraid he might do something life-threatening,” a worker said at the time via the website. Good morning America.
Authorities arrived on the scene within seven minutes, but it was too late and Payne’s body was found in the hotel yard. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his cause of death was given as debilitating skull fracture.
A report revealed that Payne allegedly “jumped” from the third-floor balcony of his room at the Casa Sur hotel in the Argentine capital. However, New York Post Office shared that Payne may have lost consciousness when he fell.
Payne leaves behind 7-year-old son Bear, whose mother, Cheryl Cole, spoke about Payne’s death amid sensational headlines.

“Liam is not only a pop star and a celebrity, he is also a son, a brother, an uncle, a close friend and a father to our 7-year-old son. A son now has to face the reality of never seeing his father again,” Cole said in an Instagram post.
