Liam Payne’s funeral was held on November 20 and now one of his old tweets has resurfaced following his death.
In a post on his X account on New Year’s Eve 2010, Payne questioned who would attend his funeral if he died.
“If I die will you come to my funeral…?” he asked his followers.
In the comments section of the post, people shared snaps of other members of One Direction at his funeral.
Payne’s memorial service was held in Amersham, England on Wednesday and Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik all came together to pay tribute to their late brother.
All members wore suits to the event and Horan and his girlfriend Amelia Woolley attended the funeral.

New York Post Office reported that X factor judge and former boss of One Direction, Simon Cowell, was also present at the funeral.
Payne’s girlfriend at the time of his death, Kate Cassidy, was said to be one of the first to arrive at the ceremony. She entered the ceremony with Elizabeth Hurley’s son, Damian Hurley.
Payne’s ex, Cheryl Cole, the mother of their son, Bear, was also present at the funeral. The agency reported that Bear was not there. However, the late singer’s parents were both present there.
According to an insider who spoke with Daily mail“Friends say Cheryl has vowed to make sure Bear never forgets his father.”
She previously shared her praise for Payne in a 2019 interview with Telegraph.
“Liam is a great dad. He’s a lot softer than me. I’m strict and Liam isn’t. I’d be the one to say ‘Just one chocolate’ but Bear is great. If I accept to be face to face with him, he puts his little hand on my face and looks into my eyes to see if I’m deadly serious or a little cranky, and it melts my heart”, she said.
Payne’s funeral was attended only by close friends and family. He was buried two weeks after his father brought his body back from Argentina, where he died on October 16 after falling from a third-floor balcony.
The investigation into his death found that the singer had a number of substances in his system at the time of death, including pink cocaine. Since his death, three people have been arrested in connection with his death.
