Liam Payne’s letter to 10-year-old boy resurfaced after his death: ‘Treasure every moment’

An old letter Liam Payne wrote to his younger self has now resurfaced.

The reminder came from BBC Radio 2 presenter Scott Mills on October 17, who played a letter Payne wrote to his 10-year-old self in 2020. He went on to read the letter as part of a series about the pandemic.

“Dear 10 year old Liam. Get ready! It’s about to get a little bumpy,” the letter began.

“Cherish every moment with your loved ones right now because with just a few days of family holidays left, life is about to get surreal. You know what you love, sing, be keep going and when you turn 14 something magical happens and I’m not talking about puberty,” he added.

Payne then shared with his younger self that he was going to audition for one of the biggest talent shows in the world. He went on to add that he will also meet his son’s mother on the show.

“I know it seems a bit early but trust me everything will work out. I recommend you watch it Back to the futureit could be helpful,” Payne said.

“Now you’re famous and it seems like you’ve peaked too soon, you smug bastard, but you haven’t even started yet. Take it easy a bit and remember this is a marathon It’s not a sprint,” he shared.

Payne died at the age of 31 on October 16 after falling at the CasaSur Palermo hotel. An autopsy found that Payne died after suffering a debilitating skull fracture.

Before jumping, Payne was said to have been behaving oddly just minutes before the incident. He is suspected of using stimulants, although nothing has been confirmed at the time of reporting.
