Lil Baby’s new album did not receive a warm reception when it was released.
The rapper has released his latest project, WHAM (Who’s as Hard as Me) on January 3 and fans were less than enthusiastic about the project. Many of them reached out to X to express their disdain for the album.
One person said: “This little baby did NOT pass his car test.”
“I’m back at GNX [Kendrick Lamar’s album] after listening to Lil baby’s Wham,” someone shared along with a gif of Usher sliding across the floor towards a woman.
“Lil Baby just dropped one of the worst albums of the year and the new year has just begun,” another shared.
“This new Lil Baby is ridiculously boring,” another added.

Even streamer Kai Cenat wasn’t selling the project in a clip from a stream where he listened to the album.
“Who put this on the whiteboard after the album. This is probably the worst song I’ve heard so far,” he said reacting to one of the songs.
In another clip, Cenat reacts to another song called “FU 2X” with a look of complete disgust and confusion.
“He goes so fast,” he says of Lil Baby’s songs and flow.
WHAT features guest appearances from 21 Savage, Travis Scott and Young Thug among others. The second was recently released from prison after he reached a plea deal for alleged gang activity.
Prior to the album’s release, Lil Baby shared a trailer for the album.
“Where I come from is your heart and hustle [are] everything,” he shares as the camera moves through his childhood home. “That’s what keeps you going when the odds are stacked against you. What motivates you to be better, to try harder.”
“The neighborhood built me, protected me, shaped me. It taught me how to strive, grow, [and] how to stay on top,” he added in the visual set.
This is not the only album Lil Baby is scheduled to release this year as he is also scheduled to release his own album. Dominique at some point.
