Early life and education

Liu Wen, 36, was born on January 27, 1988 in Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, China. Her father is a construction worker and she is the only daughter in the family.

As she was much taller than her classmates, she developed a habit of hunching over, so her mother encouraged her to pursue a career in modeling to improve her posture.

In 2005, she participated in the New Silk Road World Model Contest held in her hometown and won the semi-finals. She participated in the competition because the prize was a new laptop.
