League of Legends
League of Legends, commonly known as League or LoL, is a video game produced in 2009 by Riot Games. It is a multiplayer online battle arena game where two teams (5 players each) battle against each other. The goal is to capture the enemy’s territory and destroy their “hub,” a massive structure.
In the game, each player controls a unique character, called a “Champion”, who has special abilities. Players become stronger during the game by earning experience points and gold coins to purchase items. League of Legends is free to play, but you can purchase things to customize your character. It’s available on Windows and macOS.
People love this game because it’s easy to play, the characters are cool, and it looks good. Even though it has been around for a while, it is still considered one of the best video games. However, some players can be mean in the game, and Riot Games is working to fix that. Millions of people play League of Legends, and it’s so popular that it’s inspired music, comics, stories, and an animated series called Arcane. There are other League of Legends-related games, such as mobile versions and card games.
League of Legends is a huge thing in the world of competitive gaming. Every year, there is a huge tournament called the League of Legends World Championship where the best teams from around the world compete. In 2019, the number of viewers of the event exceeded 100 million, and the finals were watched by 44 million people at the same time. You can watch these tournaments on websites like Twitch and YouTube, or on TV.

When does LoL 2024 preseason start?
The “League of Legends” 2024 preseason will begin testing on the PBE server on November 20, 2023. The official release on regular servers may be delayed. Players can change their Season 13 rankings until January 3, 2024. The current season will be extended while adjustments are made on the test server.
Unlike before, players will not reset their rankings during the preseason. Instead, they will transition smoothly from Season 13 to Season 14. With just a week off, Season 14 will officially begin on January 9, 2024 with patch 14.1.
League of Legends 2024 Preseason: What to Expect?
Riot Games wants to make ranked play in League of Legends more fun and faster. In 2024, they plan to split the ranking season into three parts: January, May and September. This means that starting in Season 14, your ranking will reset three times per year instead of once.
Riot understands that the current system of ranked seasons lasting an entire year can feel like a long time. They also know that many players want to play ranked at the end of the year but can’t. The new three-partition system aims to solve these problems. As the number of resets increases, players have more opportunities to advance in the rankings and receive rewards. Each bracket will be shorter to make the game more exciting.
Riot has also made changes to items in the game. They are removing the Mythic items added in 2021 to give players more options. However, these objects ultimately limit architectural creativity. Riot believes that removing them will restore diversity in the way players can build their characters.
League of Legends gameplay
League of Legends is a game where you control a special character called a “Champion” who has unique powers. It is a multiplayer game with over 160 champions to choose from as of 2023. During the game, your champion can become stronger by gaining experience points (XP) by defeating enemies. You can also make your champion more powerful by purchasing items using gold coins, which are earned by defeating the other team’s minions, champions, or structures.
The main game mode is called Summoner’s Rift. In this mode, you can purchase items from the store while your champion is at your team’s base. Each game is independent, and the levels and items you gain in one game do not carry over to the next.
