He grew up in an ordinary family with a religious education. His parents worked hard to ensure that he received a formal school education.

Rengilei Radu’s wife is Bobo Magro. The two met at a school debate when they were young, and according to Radu, they fell in love at first sight.
The couple married in November 2015 in the Western Cape Province of South Africa in front of many well-wishers, family and friends. The wedding was broadcast on the Lungile reality show Forever Young.
He always raves about his wife and how she helps him navigate his life and career. They both love traveling and visiting new places together.
