On Vine, Mahogany LOX became popular when the app was shut down; she had over a million followers. She DJed for Magcon, which featured Shawn Mendes, Cameron Dallas, Nash Grier, Hayes Grier, Jack Gilinsky, Matthew Espinosa, Jack Johnson, Taylor Caniff, Aaron Carpenter, Carter Reynolds, and the first official event of the Jacob Whitesides tour in Dallas, Texas, in 2013. She began working as a publicist for the American Music Awards two years later.
