Upcoming episodes will follow Malcom and his daughter as they are caught up in the family’s crazy chaos when Hal and Lois insist on celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary with a family reunion.

Malcolm in the Middle originally aired from 2000 to 2006 with a total of seven seasons and 151 episodes.
The series was a success from the start, with its single-camera format receiving critical acclaim along with its humor.
The series received 33 Emmy nominations, although it only won seven during its run.
The sequel will hit all the right marks with nostalgia imbued with new stories. How to handle it is up to the viewer to decide.

The four episodes will be produced by 20th Television and New Regency. It will be directed by Ken Kwapis.
