Manqoba Mngqithi (born 25 April 1971) is a famous South African football coach.
He has coached and managed several teams in the South African Premier League.
He is currently the football coach of Mamelodi Sundowns. He taught in secondary schools before becoming a football coach.

Manqoba Mngqithi started his career as a secondary school teacher. He is a renowned coach in the South African football world. He started his journey as a manager coach for Maritzburg City football team and later as a coach for Moja United.
He began his coaching career in 2006 and has managed several teams in the South African Premier League. In 2009, he won the MTN 8 Cup final with Golden Arrows FC after defeating top flight side Ajax Cape Town 6-0.
He started coaching Golden Arrows in 2006 and managed them for four years before leaving to take over AmaZulu Football Club. He only stayed there for a year before leaving the team in 2011 for personal reasons.
He was quickly recruited by the Chippa United board to manage their team, he had an average season at the club and left in 2013. He was announced as the head coach of Mamelodi Sundowns in 2020 after 7 years as the club’s assistant coach from 2013 to 2020.
Other clubs he has managed include Maritzburg City, Moja United, Highlanders FC. He has also managed the University of Kwazulu-Natal football team.

Manqoba Mngqithi has one child, Asavela Mngqithi. His daughter is a South African actress who currently stars in the South African television series, Isibaya, where she plays Ntwenhle.
She was born on 4 June 1996. Asavela studied camera and editing at AFDA College, located in Durban. He is very proud of his daughter and they have a good relationship.
