Mariah Carey signs Rihanna’s chest at a concert in Brooklyn Instagram, X
Mariah Carey stunned everyone with a surprise gesture for Rihanna at her concert.
It’s the holiday season and Carey is currently wrapping up her Christmas Time tour in Brooklyn on December 17. The Christmas-themed concert invited an enthusiastic audience, including the pop singer Rihanna.
On X (formerly Twitter), many clips show Carey signing Rihanna’s chest. The “All I Want For Christmas is You” hitmaker was seen holding what appeared to be a red Sharpie pen, as the crowd took notice of what the singer was doing.
However, Rihanna took the mic and announced the location of the playful gesture, saying, “Mariah Carey is signing my t**” to loud cheers from the crowd. The “Umbrella” singer also added: “This shit is heaven.”
After signing, Rihanna expressed admiration for Carey’s sign and approached her to hug her.
Fans were impressed by the brief but iconic interaction between the two queens, while some couldn’t get on with Carey’s rabid fan service.
One fan commented: “This is not the collaboration I expected.”
Another commented, “My mom and my favorite interaction. I will (remember) this forever.”
A third said: “This is probably the worst thing to happen all year.”
