The game offers two different ways to play: casual and classic. In Casual mode, the time limit is removed, so there’s no need to rush, checkpoints help you along the way, and Mario can take five hits before losing a life. Classic mode stays true to the challenges of the original game.
As for the levels, two new worlds are introduced: Happy Mini Park with the amusement park as the background, and the top-sliding snow mountain adventure. Each world has additional levels, for a total of over 130 levels to conquer. Plus, there’s a bonus feature called Time Attack that lets you test your skills by completing levels as quickly as possible after completing the game.
The game’s developer, Nintendo Software Technologies, ensured that the experience was enhanced while retaining the essence of the beloved original. Music composed by Schwedbeast Studios adds to the excitement and makes each level more interesting.

Mario Vs.Donkey Kong development
Mario vs. Donkey Kong’s journey began with its predecessor, Donkey Kong Plus, which debuted at E3 2002. At the time, it showed off a cool feature that would let players design and save their own levels on the GameCube. These custom creations can then be transferred to the Game Boy Advance using a cable. Essentially, “Donkey Kong Plus” is like a modern version of the classic “Donkey Kong ’94” game. However, by the following year, this version was gone, replaced by Mario vs. Donkey Kong’s improved graphics and new gameplay.
