Early life and education
Maryse Ouellet Mizanin was born on January 21, 1983 in Edmundston, New Brunswick, and her birthplace is Montreal, Quebec. Her father is Guy Ouellet and her mother is Marjolaine Martin. She also has an older sister named Michelle Ouellet,
Marlys graduated from Montmorency De Laval with a degree in Business Administration and holds a black belt in martial arts.
Maryse Orlet Mizanin won the title of Miss Hawaii Tropics Canada in 2003 and was runner-up in the Miss Hawaii Tropics International Finals in 2004, after which she began her modeling career.
