This famous musician grew up in a village in Limpopo, South Africa.
He was largely influenced by his uncle’s gift of a computer. He started creating musical beats using a computer system at the age of 13.
When he was young, he pretended to be sick so he wouldn’t have to go to school and stay home to compose music.
Education
Mr. KG began and completed his primary and secondary education in Tzaneen, South Africa.
He graduated from Calais High School, Maruleng Rural, Limpopo in 2015.
Career
Master KG’s music career took a different turn when he collaborated with DJ Maebela. They practiced many times with the beat production app FL Studios. His first music song was released in 2016 titled Situation.
After releasing his first single, he was noticed by South African record label Open Mic Productions and quickly signed. He released his debut album Skeleton Move which was well received and widely received by South Africans in 2018. The song Skeleton Move featuring Zanda Zakuza won the Thobela FM Song of the Year award.

He has a unique musical style and sings in the local Khelobedu language. He has also performed beyond South Africa’s borders in several African countries such as Zambia. He has collaborated with several South African artists and recently teamed up with Burna Boy and Nomcebo Zikode to release a remake of Jerusalema.

Mr KG has no children and is also unmarried. He was in a relationship with beautiful South African singer, Makhadzi before the two broke up in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown.
