Claudia Sandoval (Winner)
After winning the sixth season of MasterChef, Claudia worked as an events manager in La Mesa, California. She released her cookbook titled “Claudia’s Corcina: A Taste of Mexico” a month after her win. Claudia also started a catering business, gave cooking classes, opened a Mexican bakery called “El Cochi Dorado” in June 2020, and became a judge on MasterChef Latino. She is also involved in charity work and has raised over $450,000. As of 2022, she lives in San Diego with her daughter.

Derek Peltz (runner-up)
Derrick, born Derrick Fox, was a drummer in Florida before joining the show. After MasterChef, he hosted numerous pop-up dining events across the U.S., helped open a restaurant in Los Angeles, got married and adopted his wife’s last name (Derrick Fox), and launched his podcast A Bunch of Fails in 2022 By”.

Stephen Lee
Teffen works as an urban gardener in Palm Springs. He now works as a personal chef, appearing as a guest on different cooking shows and providing private cooking/catering services. He also has a “food experience” called the Food Department.

Nick Nappi
Nick worked as a dishwasher sales representative in California and later became a chef at several restaurants, including Bar One in San Diego. As of 2022, he is a “cannabis chef” and co-founder of Nappi Roots Culinary, specializing in cannabis-flavored edibles.
Katrina Kozar

Katrina was an administrative assistant in Wisconsin who started offering personal chef services and selling a special homemade gourmet mustard. She also has her own brand of spices called Mustard Queens, which can be purchased online.

Hetal, a startup developer from New Jersey, has launched her own online bakery and published a cookbook called Milk and Cardamom: Spectacular Cakes, Custards, and More Inspired by the Flavors of India. She is a freelance recipe developer, digital marketer, and food blogger at Milk and Cardamom.
