Azealia Banks is no stranger to feuds with X and her latest feud involves 1975 Leader, Matty Healy.
The two have been feuding since May 2023, but things came to a head on December 3 when Healy threatened to “slap” Banks.
Their latest interaction began when Banks commented on a photo of Charli XCX: saying “Charli used to be so beautiful. Ugh.”

Healy joined the debate saying: “All of the women you attack seem to be culturally appropriate, attractive, divisive and AMAZING people. I think this makes you jealous I’m jealous because you’re so talented but everything else about you is a failure rap.

Healy’s bandmate, George Daniel, is engaged to Charli. Banks later responded to Healy’s comments.
“I don’t know any of your music yet but make sure you keep all that behind your keyboard. This is hiphop and you’re easy to set up. One bad bag, one bad pill . It only costs $200 and an ounce of weed to make you,” she said in a cryptic thread Independence.
Healy responded, “I will f—–slap you so hard, I will get the Guinness World Record for the highest ever flown by a rat some call a wig.
Unsurprisingly, Healy faced backlash and went on to apologize to Banks for his comments.
“No, I can’t say I would hit a crazy girl. I’m sorry. You can’t just be mean like that to my friends and grandmother, it’s really hurtful which makes me have to defend well, ” he said.

But Banks continued the feud and shared a close-up photo of him and his teeth.
“Obviously you’re not flossing enough, not using the right toothpaste, should quit smoking and wait until after drinking coffee to brush your teeth. Your gums look inflamed like the early signs of inflammation gums,” she said.
Banks added: “You have to brush your teeth first thing in the morning because morning breath isn’t a result of keeping your mouth shut all night, it’s actually a discharge from what your heart detoxifies while you sleep. “.

While Banks continued to respond to Healy with a series of vulgar tweets, Healy appeared to step aside and stopped responding after apologizing.
Previously, the two fought when Healy was linked to Taylor Swift in 2023. During that feud, Banks brought up racist comments Healy had previously made about rapper Ice Spice on one occasion. appears above Adam Friedland’s podcast. During the interview, Healy and the host speculated about the rapper’s identity and joked that she sounded like an “Inuit Spice Girl” and a “chubby Chinese lady”.
At the time, Azealia shared a photo of Healy on stage along with a headline referencing his onstage apology for his comments about Ice Spice.
“Does Matt Healy know that no one actually thinks 1975 made good music? And he’s a lame poser with a trashy cliché band name that doesn’t actually mean anything and he clearly pushed to the point where a black girl who knew nothing about him or his music was getting more moves and making more money than him,” she said via Sun.
