MC Makopolo Biography
Mbam Uche Henry, also known as MC Makopolo, is a 36-year-old Nigerian comedian, actor and all-round entertainer.
Born June 15, 1988 in Kaduna, Nigeria.
He is widely known for his prank videos which have earned him recognition and the title “King of Pranks” for his versatility and creativity in what he does.
MC Makopolo was a PulseTv Presenter but is now the CEO of “Pranks Nigeria” with the handle @Pranks.ng
Background & Education
MC Makopolo was born in Kaduna state and hails from Ebonyi; a state located in southeastern Nigeria, predominantly inhabited by the Igbo tribe.
He holds a degree in Agricultural and Environmental Engineering from the prestigious University of Agriculture, Makurdia, Nigeria.
Career
MC Makopolo started his career as a news reporter at Harvest Fm in Makurdi and later became a Radio Presenter at Radio Benue in 2009. He then started working as a Presenter for Nigerian news platform Pulse Tv from 2013 to 2018 but resigned as a Senior Producer and Presenter.
MC Makopolo formed his own Production Team in August 2018. His stand-up comedy career began in April 2007 when he appeared as a Guest Host on the show “Gospel Laughter Night” in 2007.
He has appeared in numerous shows and has hosted over 500 official and casual functions of important personalities across Nigeria. He is currently doing the rounds with his viral content such as “#PranksNigeria, #Lifein60Sec, #MallamHabu, #Mugumap, etc.
MC Makopolo is currently doing a prank tour challenge #prankstourwithmakopolo which he plans to take to 36 states of Nigeria to create authentic and unique Nigerian content that relates to the people of the region.
