She explained, “But I also think that for Muneeba at least, there’s this whole aspect of their child getting powers and [being] getting into this fantasy world and all that. But there’s also the push-pull of adolescence: this kid’s growing up, and there’s the normal stuff of, “No, you can’t stay out late. No, you can’t go out with boys.” There’s that aspect of it, too.”

“And Iman is growing up,” she added. “I mean, she’s only 19. So as Zenobia, I see her as someone who’s just starting out on her journey. I take that into account quite a bit.”
