Before Kate Rorke-Bassich met her ex-husband Andy Bassich, she had a daughter named Amy Rorke. Life Below Zero is very close to her daughter and has posted about her on her Facebook page several times.
In April 2017, Kate documented her mother and daughter’s trip to Maui and posted on her Facebook, “Best vacation ever in Maui. Thanks for the memories, Amy.”
On Amy’s birthday in January 2018, she wished her daughter, “To my baby girl, Amy. Then and now. My daughter and best friend. Happy birthday my love.”
On Amy’s 44th birthday, Kate wished her daughter: “Today, my little girl turns 44. Looking back, it feels like yesterday.”
