Meet Brett Martin, Faith Martin’s husband, a gold bachelor

“My dad always jokes about how similar he and I are,” he added. “Sometimes that leads to some conflict, but it also leads to a really special understanding of each other. I am so grateful that I have been blessed with such a great dad. A man who will work 12 hours in the scorching heat just to come home and play basketball in a dirt driveway with his two sons. A man who will wake up every morning at 4 a.m. in the winter to chop wood and start a fire so his family can wake up to warmth.”

Nick concluded, “My dad was caring, passionate, and worked every day to make life a little easier for the people he lived with. And he was a great storyteller. I will miss you so much, Dad. I know you will be watching over us until we see you again on the other side. I love you, Dad.”

Using PVC, caps, glue, and gravel, he designed a weight that was more comfortable for the poles, while also being less of a tripping hazard. The weights were designed to be used in winds under 20 mph.”
