Isy Suttie met Elis James in 2009. They are believed to have started dating in 2010. On 9 February 2016, Isy proposed to her man at a party to launch her new book. They were at the Westow House pub in Crystal Palace after her appearance at Bookseller Crow. They officially got engaged on Elis James’s Radio X show with John Robins, when they played a recording of the moment.
