Kim Janssen and John Janssen had a tumultuous divorce that lasted five years!
According to court records, John filed for divorce from Kim in 2006—after 18 years and 11 months of marriage—and the divorce was not finalized until 2011. Throughout the divorce process, the couple struggled to resolve issues related to child custody, child support, and spousal support.
When it was all settled, John was awarded full physical custody of their three children, while Kim was granted limited visitation rights. The court order stated that no “physical punishment” of the children was allowed during the custody battle.
