Meet Tewan Sherrod, Egypt Sherrod’s sister

HGTV celebrity Egypt Sherrod has shared about her sister Tewan Sherrod on several occasions. She has also posted throwback photos of her and her sisters on social media. The sisters were born to parents who are believed to be African American. Egypt often shares about her mother on IG, however, her father does not appear to be in any family photos.

Egypt’s mother, who is only known as a beautiful light-skinned woman, is adored by both her daughters. Tewan and Egypt’s mother often receive compliments for looking younger than her actual age. Furthermore, Egypt revealed on her IG post in 2015 that Tewan is a year younger than her.

Egypt often credits her sister as someone she can count on in life. On Tewan’s birthday in 2020, Egypt captioned a post, “When you have a sister, you have a best friend for the rest of your life. Speaking of Egypt, she has been married to the love of her life, Mike Jackson, for 11 years in 2021. Moreover, they have known each other for 17 years. Mike works as a general contractor, a DJ, and a fitness enthusiast. The happy couple also shares two beautiful daughters and a beautiful stepdaughter.

Tewan has two daughters, Yasmin Sherrod and Peyton Sherrod. She most likely had Peyton with Robert Comer. As for her daughter Yasmin, she had her from a previous relationship because Yas’s full name is Yasmin Sherrod Singletary. Yasmin is also connected to the Singletary family on Facebook.

Yasmin attended and graduated from Towson University in 2019. According to her LinkedIn, she earned her BA in Psychology. As for secondary education, she completed her program at Burlington Township High School in New Jersey.
