Menzi Ngubane (born 28 August 1964) is a veteran South African actor.
This famous SA native is acclaimed for his role in the South African television show Generations.
He was the main character in the television series Sibusiso Dlomo from 2004 to 2014.

Early life
Menzi Ngubane was born on 28 August 1964 in Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
He was raised by his mother and father. His mother died late but his father recently celebrated his 90th birthday.
He grew up in the town of Ladysmith in South Africa. As a child, he witnessed his father fighting for Apartheid in South Africa.
Career
Menzi Ngubane is a mainstay in the South African entertainment industry, having spent over 33 years in the industry. His rise to fame began when he landed a role in the television series, Kwakhala Nyonini in 1987.
His talent and acting skills have propelled him to stardom and he has appeared in several South African television shows. In 2004, he starred alongside renowned American black actor Samuel L. Jackson in the film adaptation of the South African non-fiction novel Country Of My Skull.
The film is titled In My Country. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated great versatility that allows him to comfortably play a variety of roles.

Personal life
Menzi Ngubane is currently married to Sikelelo Sishuba.
The couple got married in 2018 in a traditional and lavish ceremony attended by their South African co-stars, friends, associates and family members.
His first marriage to Lerato Sedibe ended in 2014. He recently celebrated his father’s 90th birthday in a lavish ceremony in his hometown of Ladysmith. He has a daughter, Aisha Ngubane, from his first marriage.
He was fired from the show Generations along with several of his co-stars. This started a legal battle between him and the production team over unpaid wages as stipulated in his contract. The case was later settled.
When not acting, he spends his time mentoring young South African men through the Twelve Auspicious Gentlemen mentoring program with Menzi Ngubane.
He is a survivor of kidney failure and was on dialysis from 2010 to 2015 before receiving a life-saving kidney transplant.
